Georgia Pacific UK (Lotus Tissues)

Valco have worked extensively with Georgia Pacific UK, the company responsible for the Lotus Tissues brand (formerly Deeko). The relationship was first established with the original brand owner over 20 years ago.

The company specialises in the manufacture of children’s party products which can incorporate anything from major Pixar movie graphics to all-time classics like Winnie the Pooh or Disney Princess.

High-profile children’s characters and movie franchises require exceptional levels of CMYK colour accuracy. They also need to be an exact match when it comes to other printed matter (litho, gravure, etc) on the supermarket shelf.

Absolute consistency, state-of-the-art processes and a no-compromise approach to self-adhesive label production has been central to this 20-year relationship, delivering great value and quality regardless of volume size.

Lidl UK

Discount supermarket chain Lidl offers outstanding value to its customers. But to maintain its edge, it needs to get great value from its suppliers, which is why it approached Valco for its self adhesive labels.

Working closely with Lidl's marketing department, Valco has designed and manufactured a wide spectrum of self adhesive labels efficiently and economically. By keeping all our manufacturing processes under one roof, we're able to keep costs down without compromising on quality or consistency.

From promotional competition stickers designed to raise awareness and stimulate brand loyalty to large format freezer self adhesive stickers to attract customers to the latest deals. Lidl continue to use our full service - from initial product photography through to final print. 

Our Price & Virgin Retail

One of the key products we handle are campaign retail packs that are distributed to individual retail outlets. Valco's account managers oversee the different elements within each retail pack which can comprise anything from numerous label types, shelf-strips, shelf wobblers and window stickers (decals) to large format displays, exterior banners and posters.

For Our Price, it started out as simple price-point labels in six London record stores. More than twenty years of unprecidented growth (incorporating a high profile buy-out by Virgin Retail) saw Valco consistantly producing self adhesive label solutions thoughout for a chain of 300+ UK stores.

Obviously - for an organisation as large as Virgin - absolute consistency, dependability and organisational discipline is paramount. Asda ‘bag for life’ campaign

Valco’s involvement with Asda’s ‘bag for life’ campaign saw us producing self adhesive window decals (labels) in enormous quantities. We beat off stiff middle-east competition to win the account, impressing Asda with our ability to accurately reproduce hi-resolution digital photos with full in-line printing and cutting.

Another aspect that impressed Asda was our efficient packing and distribution team which ensured that each store across the UK received the correct consignment of self adhesive labels via JIT delivery ready for the campaign launch.
